The Fast and the Furious: Day 1

Back to: The Fast and the Furious: Prologue

Day one ends like this: I'M HUNGRY!, but not as much as I thought I would be.

The work day went something like this:
  • Stay out of the cafeteria in the morning - drink some Gatorade
  • Stay busy so I don't think about food - drink some Gatorade
  • Stay out of the cafeteria during my lunch break - drink some Gatorade
  • Stay busy during the afternoon - drink more Gatorade
  • Come straight home: Do not pass GO, Do not collect $200..............
The biggest problem was actually watching other people eat. It's amazing how much better food looks and smells when you don't eat.

Now that I'm home I have to find a new way to keep busy and not eat the food that I just bought on Saturday in the refrigerator.

The post-work/home day went something like this:

1 day down, 2 to go...

The Fast and the Furious: The Prologue

I really like eating. I don't know if it's abnormal, gluttonous, or what but I know that every 3 or four hours, I need to put some hot dead animal flesh in my belly.

However, in the interest of my own health (and curiousity), I have decided that I will try fasting. Yes, that's right: fasting. A completely voluntary abstention from food. No reason, totally spontaneous, and very little preparation.

It'll be Gatorade and vitamins for the next few days.

So starting after dinner, let the games begin.

Update: My uncle has challenged me. He believes I won't make it to Wednesday. We'll see!

Update 2: Last meal before starting - McDonald's Crispy Chicken Club (no mayo) Meal with a medium Sprite.
