Another Year of Life Begins...

Well, another birthday has come and gone. Only one word comes to mind: DAMN!

I never pictured myself at this age. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that I'm old, it's just that I don't... well... want to get old!

Here are some pros and cons being a bachelor at this age in the big city.
  1. Single women of the same age group don't have biology on their side. Their clocks are ticking faster and faster, louder and louder. The Kid may not be a bachelor for long! Advantage: One Life...
  2. I seem to be more and more impatient and intolerant of other people's crap. Sometimes it's a problem, sometimes its not. I've got to pick my spots. Advantage: Push
  3. They say with age comes wisdom. And my lower left wisdom tooth has been hurting over the last two days. I need to see the dentist, damn. Advantage: One Life...
  4. My joints don't seem to move as smoothly as they did 10 years ago. WTF is up with that snapping, crackling, and popping when I get out of bed! Advantage: Universe
  5. One year closer to retirement age! Advantage: One Life...
  6. 25+ years until retirement age! Advantage: Universe (2x)
  7. One more year of bringing you the fans the best stories and most inconsistent blog entries money can't buy. I love you all! Stay tuned Advantage: One Life...
Final Score: One Life... wins 4-3-1

P.S. Make sure you take a look at Single Sistah In the City!

Thanx for the shout out bro! I found this entry quite amusing, maybe because I know all too well that feeling of DAMN, 30? or in your case, 31? That seemed quite unfathomable, what, maybe 15 years ago when we were fresh and young and in high school, talking about that fake a$$ family tree (remember the old letters that I found?) not even thinking about being "old" and married with kids and s%*&^, although neither one of us has ventured down that road as yet. That's OK, the best is yet to come! Love ya!
